The haute couture house Chanel has truly left its mark on 20th century fashion. Synonymous with elegance and refinement for both its ready-to-wear and its accessories.
Today we'll be leaving aside the timeless three-piece tweed suit in favor of vintage Chanel sunglasses.

The house of Chanel has made accessories iconic, and this is also the case for sunglasses and eyeglasses. At Seconde Vue, we have also given a second life to vintage Chanel frames from the 90s/2000s because we love them! Retro Chanel frames, super stylish, with gray denim or beige tweed temples, we love finding the most iconic pairs of vintage Chanel glasses!
Our glasses all go back to our workshops to be refurbished. This allows us to upcycle some of them! That's why we change the lenses of some vintage glasses to make them more trendy. We add colored lenses, for example blue or pink lenses on Chanel pierced glasses. Which gives them a bold look in the blink of an eye!
Recognizing vintage Chanel glasses
Chanel glasses are made in Italy, and the words "made in Italy" are written on the inside of the temple. In addition, the Chanel logo will not escape you and is sculpted on the majority of Chanel frames, especially on vintage ones. Large, small, on the temple or engraved on the glass, the frames are quite recognizable!
On some models we also find the emblematic chain, on the branch, or as an additional accessory on the frame, it is also at the heart of Chanel creations.
Some frames are iconic and have been spotted on the catwalks, and have then been worn by the biggest stars. For example, we think of this round frame with Chanel inscriptions.
Vintage Chanel glasses will be a good accessory to accompany you for many years and the advantage is that from your nose they will always follow the trend!
