Cellulose acetate

Cellulose is obtained from cotton extract. Shiny, it can also be made more matte and allows plays of light and shadow thanks to the various degrees of transparency that can be imposed on it.

Cellulose acetate is hypoallergenic, suitable for all eyeglass wearers.

The entire manufacturing process is based on precision craftsmanship. At the end of the process, the branches and faces are assembled, then the frame is meticulously polished again by hand to make it shiny.

Cellulose propionate

Cellulose propionate is very similar to acetate.
However, it is a lighter and stronger material than acetate, which allows designers to achieve thinner frames.

Optyl

It is a cast epoxy resin that is 20% lighter than acetate. It is a thermosetting plastic that guarantees excellent surface quality but above all it is an hypoallergenic material and resistant to sweat and cosmetic products.

However, it does present a certain fragility to breakage over time, which is why it is not the most used material.

Titanium

Titanium is a corrosion-resistant and biocompatible material (capable of not interfering and not degrading). Titanium glasses are hypoallergenic and 48% lighter than the majority of common alloys in eyewear.

The laminated gold double

A gold tube is brazed around an alloy cylinder, all transformation operations are obtained by rolling or stamping (shaping, by plastic deformation, of a piece of metal using tools allowing it to be given a shape and dimensions very close to those of the finished part).

We also use the laminated gold lining because it is the best protection against corrosion.
