For example, the frames of these years are made of cellulose acetate, a material that mixes cotton linters and wood pulp through chemical action. This acetate took time to be dried, which made it very resistant.
Another material commonly used to make glasses in those years: the laminated gold double. An ultra-resistant material, which today is practically no longer used, because it is much too expensive.
